This article outlines the minimum supported android/iOS platforms for running the MediRoutes Driver application on mobile or tablet devices. It also includes instructions for determining whether you have an Android or Apple (iOS) device.
Minimum Supported OS Versions
The MediRoutes Driver App is officially supported on:
Android: currently Android 13 and higher
iOS (Apple) currently iOS 15 and higher
Older versions of Android or iOS may still run the app, but they are not officially supported or tested by MediRoutes, and users may experience bugs or compatibility issues. While bugs and bug reports may be investigated on these older platforms, we cannot promise or guarantee that fixes will be made on these older devices if the the issue is device or platform (OS) specific.
As of 6/1/25, We have no known compatibility issues with android or iOS devices as far back as Android v10 and iOS 13. So while unsupported, these versions have been reported working without issue.
How to Tell If You Have an Android or Apple Device
If your phone is made by Samsung, Google, Motorola, OnePlus, LG, or other manufacturers (excluding Apple), it is an Android device.
If your phone is an iPhone, it is an Apple (iOS) device.
How to Check Your Android Version
Open the Settings app on your phone.
Scroll down and tap About phone or About device.
Look for Android version to see your current version.
How to Check Your iOS Version (Apple iPhone)
Open the Settings app.
Tap General.
Tap About.
Look for iOS Version (listed next to “Software Version”).

To ensure compatibility and best performance, MediRoutes recommends using the most up-to-date version of Android or iOS that your device supports. Devices running unsupported versions may encounter functionality issues and will not receive official troubleshooting support from MediRoutes.
