MediRoutes Release Notes

New Web Dispatch

  • Proactive late-pickup alerts. Trips now get flagged as at-risk before they're actually late, based on current progress and ETA, so you have time to act instead of finding out after the fact.
  • Faster route list loading. The route list on the dispatch screen used to take 10-20+ seconds to populate on open. It now loads in a few seconds.
  • Horizontal scroll in Timeline view. The full day's schedule was getting cut off at the right edge of the screen with no way to see the rest. You can now scroll to see every stop across the whole day.
  • Readable labels in Change History and Trip History. These screens were showing internal field names (like "DriverPickupPerform") instead of plain labels (like "Pickup Time"). Now they show the readable version.
  • Consistent date formatting. Dates were displayed in three different formats depending on which screen you were on. They now match everywhere.
  • Route list is the default view on login. Previously the trip list took up the dominant space when you first opened Dispatch V2, pushing the route list out of view. The route list now takes priority so you can orient to the day immediately.
  • Trip list filter is easier to find. The filter icon on the unscheduled trips panel was easy to miss and could be hidden entirely by accident with no obvious way to bring it back. It's now more discoverable and recoverable.
  • Passenger Trips dialog shows recent history by default. This dialog used to default to today's date, hiding recent past trips until you manually changed the range. It now opens showing recent trips already, which matters most during live support calls.
  • Odometer values added to the route view. Pull Out, Pull In, and Per-Trip odometer readings are now visible in the route view, matching what's available on Desktop.
  • Arrive/Perform Distance columns added. These show how far a driver was from the address when they hit Arrive or Perform, useful for spotting GPS issues or confirming whether a trip was completed by the driver or manually by a dispatcher.
  • Smaller vehicle icons on the map. Icons were overlapping and hard to tell apart in areas with several vehicles close together. They're now sized to stay readable in busy areas.
  • Route violation indicator fixed. It was factoring in stops that were already completed, so a route could show as "late" even when every remaining stop was on time. It now only reflects active and upcoming stops.
  • New batch scheduling options. You can now force return trips onto their appointment runs, or force trips onto default drivers, as part of a batch scheduling run.
  • iOS keyboard scroll fix. On iPhone, dismissing the keyboard after using search on the Routes or Trips list left the page shifted, clipping the header. The page now resets fully.

Mobile Driver APP / GPS

  • Fixed missed Arrive/Perform timestamps. In certain cases, the mobile app would stop recording Arrive and Perform times partway through a driver's route, even though later trips and signatures were still being captured normally. Trip status will now stay in sync for the rest of the run.
  • More consistent GPS streaming. Some drivers were seeing large gaps (2-5 minutes) between GPS position updates. Streaming frequency is now more consistent across devices.

Administration

  • Fixed duplicate custom role name conflict. Two different companies previously couldn't each create a custom role with the same name; one would silently fail to save. Role names are now scoped per company.
  • Driver event reminders toggle. A new setting lets you turn on arrival/departure confirmation prompts for your drivers directly, without needing to contact support.

API

  • Get trips by Rider ID. A new endpoint lets integrators retrieve all trips for a specific rider over a date range, without pulling and filtering a full day's trips.
