Explaining Dropoff Allowed Scheduled Early - Violation Sets

As of 2/29/2020, the Appt. Dropoff allowed scheduled early setting within the SingleInsert Violation Set will now automatically adjust the ETA for the pickup event, so that the Appointment Dropoff will not be assumed to arrive early.  The screen shot below indicates where this setting can be found.

For an example, review the two screen shots side by side below. You can see how ETAs will now be calculated if you have any value other than 0 within the Appt. Dropoff allowed scheduled early setting.  The example below shows the setting at 30 minutes.

The ETA for the dropoff event is now 9:30 instead of 8:47 (event 2) and 9:35 instead of 9:04 (event 4).  Both of these ETAs now assume the dropoff will not occur prior to the earliest you allow based on your Appt. Dropoff allowed scheduled early setting.  We also adjust the ETA for the pickup events, to indicate what time the driver would need to arrive to not be early for the dropoff.

This will not impact any user who has a value of 0 for Appointment Dropoff Early, and will not impact any chain of events that is multi-loaded, as it is assumed that for the purposes of ensuring that all passengers are on time for their appointment, that the first passenger will be picked up as early as is allowed per the violations.
