A video and text guide on editing and managing trips using the tools on the Home Tab in MediRoutes Desktop
Options for Editing and Managing Trips
Cancel/Reactivate: The red X is the Cancel Trip button (A) and will allow you to cancel an individual trip. Once canceled, the icon changes to a blue arrow (B), and can be used to return the trip to a non-canceled status.
Editing and Saving: The pencil and paper icon is the edit trip button (C) and allows you to bring up the trip edit screen. From there, you can change any of the information for that individual trip. Make sure to use the Green Save disk (D) to save the trip once you are done making changes.
You may need to check the Allow Update checkbox in the middle charges section to make trip edits. This checkbox is highlighted in pink in the picture for convenience.
Edit a Parent Calendar: If the trip is a calendar trip, you would see the edit parent calendar trip button (E). This will bring up the trip edit screen, but for the parent calendar trip instead of the individual trip.
Check Trip History: The circular icon is the history button (F), and using this button, you can view any changes that have been made to the trip, as well as add notes to the trip.
Where's My Ride: The green icon with the question mark is the Where's My Ride button (G). This will allow you to send a text or email notification directly to a customer, with a link that will provide them the location of their vehicle (if you have the Notifications feature enabled).
Adjusting Trip Grid
You can click and drag any of the fields/columns at the top of the Trip Grid to adjust the order of them (A). To save the order, click on the icon of a hand holding a piece of paper that is on the upper left corner of the grid (B) and click OK in the popup window.
Using the blue filter icon (C) you can filter your list of trips to show only trips for a specific Space Type, Funding Source, Zip Code, or Address.
