MediRoutes has recently created an MSI installer for the desktop application, for any user that is unable to install software from the Microsoft Store.
Some MediRoutes users have been unable to install newer versions of the desktop application due to security policies on either their devices or networks, preventing users from accessing the Microsoft Store. We have now developed an MSI installer for the desktop application, to ensure these users are able to access all of the latest updates that have been released for MediRoutes.
Steps to Install MediRoutes from the MSI Installer:
To download the MSI installer, go to the product page on MediRoutes.com and click the link for the MSI Installer.
Alternatively, you can access the file directly from this link:
https://scheduleviewer.blob.core.windows.net/document/mediroutes.desktop.msi/MediRoutes.Installer.MSI.msiOnce downloaded, you can click on the file from your browser's download history, or go to the directory that you downloaded the file to (likely your downloads folder), and open the file.
The first screen you will see is shown below. Click Next to continue.
The second screen allows you to chose which directory to install the MediRoutes Application. It is recommended that you keep the default installation settings and click Next to continue.
The last screen prior to installing MediRoutes is to confirm installation. Click Next to continue.
Depending on the user account control settings on your device, you may be prompted by the operating system to confirm installation of the application via a system pop-up like the one shown below. Make sure to click Yes to continue the installation.
Once installation is completed, you will be prompted to close the installer.
You should see a MediRoutes icon on your desktop, and from there you can launch the application. You can also use the search bar to search for MediRoutes, if you are unable to find the launch icon.
Known Issues:
A current known issue is that the release notes page does not display if you are launching MediRoutes from the MSI installer version. Once you have reached this screen, the loading icon will continue to spin. To bypass this screen, click on the continue button to skip through the release notes and into the application.
