How to Batch Schedule

Skip scheduling trips one by one, pick your trips and routes, then let it run. 

Before you start: These instructions assume New Dispatch is already live on your account and you're working with dispatcher-level access. If you're not set up there yet, start with New Dispatch setup and come back once you're in the seat.

  1. Select service date in the Magic Bar

  2. Select unscheduled trips (your selection determines what gets scheduled) 

  3. Click the I want to... menu

  4. Click Schedule

  5. Choose the routes to include, and click Next

  6. Select the violation set

  7. Click Schedule

Tip: In most cases, choose the batch violation set unless you have a specific reason to apply a different set of rules.

Notifications show Batch Scheduling status. If you see "Completed with errors," some trips couldn’t be scheduled due to violations. Schedule these trips individually using Shop Trip or Force to Route. Click here for more information
