Note, this is a Global Setting, meaning All drivers have access to make schedule event moves, or NO drivers have access.
To change the setting to allow drivers to move trip, with MAKE NEXT option on Mobile app.
- Data, Other, Setting tabs on Desktop
- In the drop down, choose the setting called SmartPhoneAllowDriverEventMove.
- type True for allowing them to move events from the Mobile App, or False to block them from moving events, Save.
- The Drivers will have to log out of the MediRoutes Mobile App and log back in to the Mobile app for the setting to apply.
Driver Mobile App
To move a schedule event on Mobile App they will:
- On schedule section of Mobile App, Scroll and find the Pickup OR Dropoff Event they are looking for.
- Click on that Event
- Click the Make Next Button which is the very top button option on this screen once the feature is activated. This will Move the Event to the Top of the Schedule List for the Driver to be able to Perform the schedule event.
- The Driver's Schedule will then return to view with that Pickup or Dropoff at the top
- WHEN then Driver is ready to Dropoff that Passenger, they will need to scroll and find the Dropoff event and repeat the process. This is to ensure that the Dropoff is moved to the top when they are actually ready to drop that Passenger. They may have closer, other events to do while that Passenger rides along.
